I’ve been testing out a new approach that’s been working super well lately, especially if you have a product or service that’s a great fit for YouTubers. Most people aren’t doing this, so I thought I’d share it with you—you’ll stand out right away.
In a nutshell: I’ve been using cold emails to target YouTubers, but not in the usual spammy way. Here’s why this strategy has been making a difference:
YouTubers Are an Untapped Market – Most people go straight for the Instagram influencers or TikTok creators, but YouTubers are often overlooked. They have loyal audiences and are usually more open to hearing about new tools that can help them create or grow.
Higher Engagement & Reply Rates – This audience is used to engaging with their fans, so they’re more likely to read and respond to a well-crafted, personalized email. It’s a much warmer market compared to blasting a generic pitch to a hundred random companies.
Easy to Find Targeted Leads – It’s actually pretty simple to gather relevant data on YouTubers—their contact info, channel stats, and recent videos are all publicly available. Plus, you can see exactly what they’re into based on their content, making it way easier to tailor your outreach.
